Are You a Guru Follower or a Trailblazer?

Are You a Guru Follower or a Trailblazer?

Don’t get me wrong…

Building a relationship with a guru is perfectly fine. In fact, finding a mentor is important to building success.

But if you are looking for a mentor to tell you EXACTLY what to do to be successful, you will be extremely disappointed.

Most gurus, if they are honest, will give you general insights into how to find success, and they can point you in the right direction. But it’s really up to each individual to condense that high level information into more concise steps for success that will work for them.

It’s best summed up in the 80/20 Rule which states as follows:

There are certain activities you do in your life (your 20 percent) that account for the majority of your happiness and outputs(your 80 percent).

That 20 percent is DIFFERENT for everyone.

That is why a guru CANNOT explain to you in EXACT DETAIL what to do for you to be a success in life. It is something that you MUST discover for yourself.

And that is why the 80/20 rule can also be applied to a group of people as a whole.

For instance, a guru could explain to a group of 100 people how he generates traffic, and ONLY 20 (the number is probably a LOT lower than that) will actually APPLY what they have heard.

So if you want to be successful in your life, quit thinking that there is some "secret" formula for achieving success.

The truth is there are NUMEROUS formulas. YOU just have to find that 20 percent of certain activities that produces the 80 percent of your results.

That means you can’t just sit on your hands waiting for someone else to tell you the "secret".

Action is what is required.

Trying different things…FAILING…and then trying other things…

UNTIL you find the activities that work for YOU!

When you grasp this concept, and act on it, then you will begin to find success in whatever it is you seek to accomplish.

Be a trailblazer, and NOT a follower.
